1.Reaction to a foreign object injected into the body

2.Body’s reaction to particular compounds such as silicone

3.Reaction to particular ways of inserting breast implants and other surgical instruments. 

Treatment for breast implant illness 

Since the cause and symptoms of breast implant illness are still in debate, experienced surgeons have different ways of resolving the issue at hand. While most of the surgeons remove the implants and the surrounding scar tissue. 

However, they do not recommend replacing the old implants with new ones and cause additional discomfort to the female. Some surgeons also remove the implants and the capsule in a single attempt. This prevents the implants and the silicone from reaching into other parts of the body. 

Final thoughts

There is no evidence to support that breast implant illness is a medical illness. Although, researchers are frequently monitoring the issue and are coming up with ways to ensure the safety of the females.
